DTG Pros:

DTG Cons:

• Higher per-unit cost for large orders: Can become expensive when printing large quantities due to slower printing speed. 

• Potential for ink bleed on dark fabrics: May require additional pre-treatment for dark garments. 

• Expensive equipment: DTG printers can be costly to purchase and maintain. 

• Less vibrant colors compared to screen printing on certain fabrics . 

Screen Printing Pros:

• Cost-effective for large orders: Price per unit significantly decreases with larger print runs. 

• High color vibrancy: Can achieve very bright and saturated colors. 

• Durable prints: Prints tend to be more durable and long-lasting compared to DTG.

Screen Printing Cons:

my opinion:  As you can see both printing processes have their share of good & bad.  In the end, i truly believe that the only thing screen printing rules by far over dtg is the durability.  screen print will last the life time of the shirt, while dtg print will fade before the shirt is ready to be retired, but still provides a great detailed colorful print for a lasting time.
